Review
“Program was very good. Karnataka Kapi was good. Kalapramanam in selection of songs were very good alternating between fast and slow songs. In all aspects the program was good. RTP was on misra nadai pallavi and was short and very good. Keeravani was also very nice to hear. Right from start Dinamani until Purnachandrika thillana, it was
well delivered. After KVN, I am hearing ‘varugalamo’ being delivered this way only now. Pakkavadyam were also very good and ably supporting.”
– Gowri Gokul

“Dinamani vamsa was a great start. Some of the audience had cried after listening to ‘varugalamo’. I could see the ‘sayal’ of KVN and Semmangudi. RTP with misra nadai pallavi was short and crisp. In all the concerts so far, this was the best and we did not realize that the concert was going on for 3 hours.”
-Mangalam Shankar

“I like his involvement, sharpness, and the way he visualizes and designs the swara patterns and brings out the beautiful picture of the raga.”
– Minal Dhamelia

“It was a very educative concert. He not only entertained but adhered to the classical traditions. In today’s concerts one has to strike a balance
between playing to the gallery and keeping to tradition. I am glad that SIFAS has brought in artistes of his caliber and I hope to see more such
concerts being arranged.”
